MaxxECU STREET Standalone ECU — Unit Only
Part Number: 1814
The MaxxECU STREET is a universal standalone engine-management system for cable-throttle applications requiring up to six fully sequential fuel and ignition channels, integrated wideband-lambda control, flex-fuel capability, variable-cam control, boost control, CAN communications, transmission-control support, and practical supporting I/O.
STREET is the entry point into MaxxECU’s full-featured engine-management range. It provides the core functions needed for many four-, five-, and six-cylinder street and performance engines without the electronic-throttle motor drivers, peak-and-hold injector drivers, Bluetooth connectivity, knock inputs, EGT inputs, or expanded I/O of the SPORT and RACE ECUs.
This listing is for the MaxxECU STREET control unit only. It is intended for replacement installations, custom harness builders, or customers who already have the required STREET wiring and accessories.

Application Notes
• This listing is for the MaxxECU STREET control unit only.
• The flying-lead wiring harness, ECU connector and terminals, USB cable, MAP-sensor hose kit, wideband sensor, wideband connector, printed documentation, and other installation accessories are not included.
• A compatible MaxxECU STREET harness or connector and terminal set is required for installation.
• MaxxECU STREET does not include direct electronic-throttle motor outputs and should be treated as a cable-throttle ECU.
• MaxxECU STREET does not include built-in Bluetooth, knock-sensor inputs, or direct Type-K EGT inputs.
• The ECU supports Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 wideband sensors.
• The sensor type, connector, wiring, and MTune configuration must match.
• Full sequential operation is limited to engines with six cylinders or fewer.
• Engines with more than six cylinders require a different fuel and ignition strategy or a higher-channel MaxxECU model.
• The injector outputs are intended for high-impedance injectors.
• Low-impedance injectors require correctly sized external ballast resistors and must present an acceptable load to the ECU.
• The ignition outputs do not directly drive conventional high-current ignition coils.
• Use coils with built-in igniters, a compatible external ignition module, or a CDI system.
• Additional wiring is required to access the ECU’s CAN bus.
• Variable-cam control, transmission control, traction control, and other advanced functions depend on the available inputs, outputs, wiring, sensors, and channel allocation.
• Direct transmission control is available for selected GM 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E, 4L85E and Toyota A340E, A341E, and A650E applications.
• CAN-controlled transmission support includes selected BMW DCT, VAG DSG, and Gen 1 ZF 8HP applications.
• Gen 1 ZF 8HP control requires the appropriate MaxxECU transmission harness, compatible shifter hardware, transmission configuration, and CAN setup.
