You hear Chop Gun before you see the car. It has the unmistakable idle of a hot street V8, followed by the thick, immediate pull that makes a 6.2L LS so satisfying to drive. It delivers the sound you wanted when you started the build, with enough torque to make every trip an excuse to use it.

RAD builds the engine and its electronics as one combination. Chop Gun pairs a fully blueprinted 6.2L LS with its induction, fueling, swap oil pan, standalone ECU, engine wiring, sensors, and completed tune. Your installer gets a defined engine package to work with; you get a car that sounds the part and drives like the project was finished.

Chop Gun is built for the driving a hot rod actually does: pulling away cleanly, cruising across town, and responding hard when you roll into the throttle. The cam gives it a noticeable chop at idle. The complete engine and tune make that character enjoyable once you put the car in gear.

Cold start, warm-up, idle, part-throttle response, and wide-open-throttle fueling receive the same attention as full-power operation.

Fully Blueprinted 6.2L Engine

Each Chop Gun engine starts with a 6.2L aluminum LS that is disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and measured. Machining and cylinder finishing are performed as required, then the engine is assembled with clearances checked for the finished combination.

ECU, Wiring & Final RAD Tune

Chop Gun includes a full standalone ECU, engine wiring, and sensors specified for the engine. Its completed RAD tune covers startup, idle, normal driving, throttle response, and full-throttle operation.

Every engine is broken in and dyno tested before delivery. Vehicle-specific accessories and installation hardware can be selected to suit the build.
