MaxxECU GEN2 TRACK ECU Package with Bosch LSU 5.2 and Flying-Lead Installation Kit

Part Number: 2536

The MaxxECU GEN2 TRACK is a next-generation standalone engine-management system for applications requiring up to eight fully sequential fuel and ignition channels, electronic-throttle control, extensive configurable I/O, dual wideband-lambda capability, dual knock inputs, high-speed logging, dual CAN communication, and environmental sealing.

GEN2 TRACK is well suited to V8 engines and more complex four-, five-, and six-cylinder applications where the additional inputs, outputs, communications capacity, and data logging justify moving beyond SPORT or the original RACE ECU. Its eight injector and eight ignition channels support fully sequential operation on engines with up to eight cylinders.

This package includes the GEN2 TRACK ECU, its complete 3-meter flying-lead installation harness set, one Bosch LSU 5.2 wideband oxygen sensor, the matching sensor connector, communication hardware, and the principal accessories required for a universal installation. Although the ECU supports two onboard wideband-lambda channels, this SKU includes one sensor.

Application Notes

• This is a universal flying-lead ECU package, not an application-specific terminated engine harness.
• The complete installation harness is divided among the GEN2 TRACK ECU’s three Superseal connectors.
• Current REV2 packages use the TRACK-specific 2487 Connector 3 harness.
• GEN2 TRACK harnesses and connectors are not interchangeable with the original MaxxECU RACE, SPORT, STREET, or PRO harnesses.
• This package includes one Bosch LSU 5.2 wideband oxygen sensor.
• The ECU supports two onboard wideband channels; a second sensor and matching connection hardware are sold separately.
• Product ID 2537 is the corresponding GEN2 TRACK package supplied with two Bosch LSU 5.2 sensors.
• The included LSU 5.2 sensor is Bosch 0 258 037 010. MaxxECU does not currently identify Bosch 0 258 037 022 as supported.
• LSU 5.2, LSU 4.9, and LSU 4.2 sensors require the correct connector, wiring, and MTune configuration.
• Electronic-throttle operation requires a compatible throttle body, accelerator-pedal assembly, correct wiring, suitable channel allocation, and application-specific MTune setup.
• GEN2 TRACK does not include the eight direct Type-K EGT inputs provided by GEN2 RACE. External hardware or conditioned analog signals are required where direct thermocouple monitoring is needed.
• Direct transmission control is available for selected GM 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E, 4L85E and Toyota A340E, A341E, and A650E applications.
• CAN-controlled transmission support includes selected BMW DCT, VAG DSG, and Gen 1 ZF 8HP applications.
• Gen 1 ZF 8HP control requires the appropriate MaxxECU transmission harness, compatible shifter hardware, transmission configuration, and CAN setup.
• Maintaining the ECU’s environmental sealing requires correctly assembled Superseal connectors, seals, unused-cavity plugs, USB covers, and MAP fittings.
• Available inputs and outputs must be allocated around the requirements of the engine, transmission, electronic throttle, variable-cam system, boost control, vehicle integration, and auxiliary equipment.
