Haltech NEXUS Rebel LS Engine Management System — Gen IV
Haltech NEXUS Rebel LS Engine Management System — Gen IV
Haltech NEXUS Rebel LS Gen IV ECU and Terminated Harness Kit
Part Number: HT-220204
The Haltech NEXUS Rebel LS is a complete engine-management and terminated-harness package developed specifically for Gen IV GM LS swaps.
The Rebel LS combines the ECU, power management, wideband controller, onboard data logging, Wi-Fi connectivity, and an easy-to-install LS engine harness in one integrated system. Dedicated, preconfigured inputs and outputs eliminate much of the wiring and software setup normally required with a universal standalone ECU, while Haltech’s LS Setup Wizard makes initial configuration straightforward.
This kit supports Gen IV LS engines equipped with a 6-pin drive-by-wire throttle, EV6 high-impedance injectors, and a manual transmission.

Application Notes
- Intended for Gen IV GM LS engines using a standard GM 6-pin drive-by-wire throttle.
- The kit includes an adapter harness for a Corvette-style accelerator pedal. The accelerator-pedal assembly itself is not included.
- The supplied injector sub-harness uses EV6 injector connectors.
- The ECU supports high-impedance fuel injectors only.
- The included transmission harness is configured for a T56 manual transmission and vehicle-speed sensor.
- Other manual-transmission applications may require application-specific vehicle-speed and reverse-lockout wiring.
- Compatible electronically controlled GM automatic transmissions require a separate Haltech Ti-series transmission interface and the appropriate transmission harness.
- The included Gen IV MAP- and oil-pressure-sensor adapters accommodate the applicable later-style factory sensors.
- Engines combining Gen III and Gen IV sensors, throttles, injectors, or pedals may require additional adapter harnesses.
- A flex-fuel composition sensor is supported but is not included.
- A fuel-pressure sensor is supported but is not included. Adding one allows fuel-pressure compensation and fuel-pressure-based engine-protection strategies.
- The onboard wideband controller supports one Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor. Dual-bank wideband monitoring requires an additional Haltech CAN wideband controller and sensor.
- The ECU provides one user-configurable 25 A auxiliary output that can operate a secondary fuel pump, additional cooling fan, starter solenoid, high-current solenoid, or another suitable switched 12 V load.
- The ECU requires direct battery-positive and battery-negative connections. The required 4 AWG battery cables are sold separately.
- The Rebel LS Setup Wizard generates an initial configuration based on the selected engine, camshaft, throttle, MAP sensor, fuel system, injectors, and ignition coils.
- The supplied base configuration is intended to start and operate the engine. Final calibration is still required for the actual engine, fuel system, induction system, exhaust, and vehicle combination.
- The ECU’s CAN network is intended for compatible Haltech CAN devices. Retention of factory instrument-cluster, ABS, body-control, or other OEM CAN functions requires separate application-specific integration.
