Fuel Injector Clinic 1650cc High-Z Injector Set — 2009–2013 GM 6.2L Truck

Part Number: IS306-1650H

The Fuel Injector Clinic IS306-1650H is an application-specific set of eight high-impedance injectors for FIC’s 2009–2013 GM 6.2L truck application. FIC rates this injector at 1650 cc/min and 160 lb/hr at its standard 3-bar test pressure of 43.5 psi. At the GM OE 4-bar / 58 psi fuel pressure used for this application, FIC rates the set at approximately 1900 cc/min and 180 lb/hr per injector.

This is a saturated, high-impedance injector set designed as a drop-in fitment for the listed application. FIC supplies the injectors with the factory-style electrical connector, so no connector conversion is required, and includes the O-rings required for the factory application. The set is intended to provide the fuel capacity of a large performance injector while retaining the short-pulse-width control required for stable idle and street drivability when the ECU is configured with the correct injector data.

FIC’s 1650cc high-impedance injector uses stainless-alloy valve construction and is compatible with pump gasoline, E85, Q16, VP Import, FTW, and other MTBE oxygenated racing fuels. FIC describes the 1650cc as its largest high-impedance injector compatible with all race fuels, making it useful for high-output forced-induction applications that require substantial fuel capacity without moving to a low-impedance injector and external peak-and-hold driver strategy.

Each injector is individually serial numbered and matched using Fuel Injector Clinic’s Data Match Technology. The supplied Data Match Sheet includes the measured matching results and latency information needed for accurate ECU setup. FIC also provides plug-and-play GM ECU injector data for this application through its technical-data library.

Application Notes

  • Fuel Injector Clinic lists IS306-1650H specifically for 2009–2013 6.2L truck motors. Confirm the engine, intake manifold, fuel rail, and injector configuration before ordering when the vehicle has been modified or uses non-factory induction components.
  • The 1650cc rating is measured at 43.5 psi / 3 bar. The same injector flows approximately 1900 cc/min and 180 lb/hr at the application’s OE 58 psi / 4 bar fuel pressure.
  • Injector flow increases with differential fuel pressure. Fuel-system sizing should be based on the actual regulated differential pressure and fuel being used rather than the injector’s nominal 1650cc designation alone.
  • These injectors require appropriate ECU injector characterization. Do not substitute generic flow-rate values for the FIC-supplied latency and characterization data.
  • Fuel pumps, fuel-pressure regulator, fuel rails, filters, lines, wiring, ECU calibration, and other fuel-system components are not included with the injector set.
  • FIC supplies the O-rings needed for the listed factory application. Aftermarket fuel rails, intake manifolds, or unusual injector mounting arrangements may require different seals, spacers, or fitment hardware.
  • The product is a port fuel injector set and is not a direct-injection injector replacement.

Emissions and Competition-Use Notice
