Fuel Injector Clinic 1650cc High-Z Injector Set — 1999–2006 GM 4.8L / 5.3L / 6.0L Truck
Part Numbers: IS304-1650H & PGTJETR8Q
The Fuel Injector Clinic IS304-1650H is an application-specific set of eight high-impedance injectors for 1999–2006 GM 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L truck engines. FIC rates each injector at 1650 cc/min and 160 lb/hr at its standard 3-bar test pressure of 43.5 psi. At the OE 4-bar / 58 psi fuel pressure used for this application, FIC rates each injector at approximately 1900 cc/min and 180 lb/hr.
This injector set uses Fuel Injector Clinic’s 1650cc high-impedance injector in the correct physical configuration for the listed GM truck application. The injectors use Jetronic/EV1 electrical connections rather than the original GM/Delphi harness connector used on the vehicle. FIC supplies solder-in Jetronic pigtails as the standard wiring option and offers an optional plug-and-play Jetronic/EV1-to-GM/Delphi adapter set for installations where cutting and soldering the factory harness is not desired.
FIC’s 1650cc high-impedance injector combines substantial fuel capacity with the short-pulse-width control required for stable idle and street drivability when the ECU is configured with the correct injector characterization data. The injector uses stainless-alloy valve construction and is compatible with pump gasoline, E85, Q16, VP Import, FTW, and other MTBE oxygenated racing fuels.
Each injector is individually serial numbered and matched using Fuel Injector Clinic’s Data Match Technology. The supplied Data Match Sheet provides measured flow-matching and latency information, and FIC provides plug-and-play GM ECU injector data through its technical-data library.

Available Wiring Configurations
- Solder-In Pigtails — PGTJETR8Q: set of eight Jetronic quick-release injector plugs with pigtails. This is FIC’s standard wiring selection for IS304-1650H and requires replacing the original injector connectors on the vehicle harness.
- Plug-and-Play Harness Adapters — PADPJtoGM8: set of eight Jetronic/EV1-female to GM/Delphi-male adapters. This option connects the injectors to the original GM/Delphi harness without cutting or soldering the vehicle wiring.
Application Notes
- Fuel Injector Clinic lists IS304-1650H specifically for 1999–2006 GM 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L truck motors. Confirm the intake manifold, fuel rail, and injector configuration before ordering when the engine uses aftermarket induction components.
- The 1650cc rating is measured at 43.5 psi / 3 bar. The same injector flows approximately 1900 cc/min and 180 lb/hr at the application’s OE 58 psi / 4 bar fuel pressure.
- Injector flow changes with differential fuel pressure. Fuel-system sizing should be based on the actual regulated differential pressure and fuel type rather than the nominal 1650cc designation alone.
- These injectors use Jetronic/EV1 electrical connections. Select either the supplied solder-in pigtails or the optional plug-and-play GM/Delphi harness adapters according to the desired wiring approach.
- These injectors require appropriate ECU characterization. Use the FIC-supplied flow, latency, and characterization data rather than generic injector values.
- Fuel pumps, fuel-pressure regulator, fuel rails, filters, feed and return lines, ECU configuration, and other fuel-system components are not included.
- FIC supplies the O-rings required for the listed factory application. Aftermarket rails, intake manifolds, or unusual injector mounting arrangements may require different seals, spacers, or fitment hardware.
- This product is a port-fuel-injector set and is not a direct-injection injector replacement.
