Fuel Injector Clinic 1200cc High-Z Injector Set — 1999–2006 GM 4.8L / 5.3L / 6.0L Truck
Part Numbers: IS304-1200H & PGTJETR8Q
The Fuel Injector Clinic IS304-1200H is an application-specific set of eight high-impedance injectors for 1999–2006 GM 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L truck engines. FIC’s standard product configuration is IS304-1200H & PGTJETR8Q, which includes eight Jetronic quick-release solder-in pigtails. For installations where cutting and soldering the original injector harness is not desired, FIC also offers the PADPJtoGM8 plug-and-play adapter set.
Each injector is rated at 1200 cc/min and 110 lb/hr at FIC’s standard 43.5 psi / 3 bar test pressure. At the OE 58 psi / 4 bar fuel pressure used for this application, FIC rates each injector at approximately 1350 cc/min and 130 lb/hr.
The injectors use a saturated / high-impedance design and are engineered for strong linearity and short-pulse-width repeatability. FIC provides plug-and-play GM ECU injector data and matches each set using its Data Match Technology to support accurate fueling, stable idle, and predictable drivability when the ECU is configured with the correct injector characterization.
Each injector is individually serial numbered, and the supplied Data Match Sheet provides measured flow-matching and latency information. FIC flow-tests and rates the injectors at 43.5 psi / 3 bar with fuel at 90°F using CF-16B calibration fluid.

Injector Matching and ECU Data
- Matched using Fuel Injector Clinic Data Match Technology
- Each injector individually serial numbered
- Data Match Sheet supplied with measured matching and latency information
- Plug-and-play GM ECU injector data available from Fuel Injector Clinic
- Correct injector characterization must be entered into the ECU for proper fueling, idle quality, transient response, and drivability
Available Wiring Configurations
- Solder-In Pigtails — IS304-1200H & PGTJETR8Q: FIC’s standard configuration. Includes eight Jetronic quick-release pigtails for replacing the existing injector connectors on the vehicle harness.
- Plug-and-Play Stock-Harness Adapters — IS304-1200H & PADPJtoGM8: uses eight Jetronic / EV1-female to GM / Delphi-male adapters, allowing connection to the factory-style harness without cutting or soldering the original injector wiring.
Application Notes
- Fuel Injector Clinic lists IS304-1200H specifically for 1999–2006 GM 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L truck motors.
- The 1200cc rating is measured at 43.5 psi / 3 bar. At the OE 58 psi / 4 bar fuel pressure, FIC rates the same injector at approximately 1350 cc/min and 130 lb/hr.
- Injector flow changes with differential fuel pressure. Fuel-system sizing should be based on actual regulated differential pressure, fuel type, target power, and injector duty cycle rather than the nominal 1200cc designation alone.
- The standard IS304-1200H & PGTJETR8Q configuration requires replacing the existing injector connectors with the included solder-in pigtails.
- The optional IS304-1200H & PADPJtoGM8 configuration retains the factory-style harness connectors by using plug-and-play adapters.
- This injector set was previously sold by FIC as IS304-1100H.
- Use FIC-supplied injector characterization and latency data rather than generic 1200cc injector values.
- Fuel pumps, fuel-pressure regulator, fuel rails, filters, feed and return plumbing, ECU, ECU configuration, and tuning are not included.
- FIC supplies the O-rings required for the listed factory application. Aftermarket or unusual rail and manifold combinations should be checked for injector fitment before ordering.
- This is a port-fuel-injector set and is not a direct-injection injector replacement.
